There are two kinds of places to buy Pokémon product in Canada: big-box retailers (Walmart, Best Buy, EB Games, Canadian Tire) that stock at MSRP but sell out in minutes, and local game stores that price closer to market but get allocation more regularly. Both matter, for different reasons.

What actually works
- Restocks come in waves, not single drops. We've repeatedly recorded the same product returning several times in one afternoon, roughly half an hour apart. Missing one isn't the end of it.
- Speed beats loyalty. Median recorded sell-out is 34 minutes; the fastest we've measured was 6.
- Local game stores are underrated. They restock more predictably than big-box and don't get bot-swarmed as hard.
